Heritage Baptist Camp Rules

We strive to provide a safe and clean environment for teenagers to learn about Christ and establish lasting Christian friendships. In order to maintain that environment rules and regulations have been established to foster these goals. This list of rules is not exhaustive but establishes the parameters necessary for a safe week.

Please read these rules carefully before making a decision to attend camp.

Young Ladies:

  • Loose-fitting jeans, capris or Basketball/Board shorts for recreation/casual
  • Board shorts & dark t-shirt for swimming
  • Dresses/Skirts & Blouses for Evening services
  • No “yoga pants” worn outside cabins.
  • No Sleeveless or “tank” tops
  • Knee-length attire for all occasions

Young Men:

  • Long shorts or jeans for recreation/casual
  • Board shorts & dark t-shirt for swimming
  • Casual long pants and collared shirts for evening services
  • No Sleeveless or “tank” tops
  • No baggy/sagging pants, please
  • Knee-length attire for all occasions

What to Bring:

  • Bible/pen/paper
  • Water bottle with name on it
  • Toiletry Items
  • Plastic bag for dirty clothes
  • Jacket/sweatshirt
  • Extra pair of shoes
  • Bedding (twin sheets) or sleeping bag/pillow/towels
  • FLASHLIGHT

What not to bring

  • Electronics (Ipods, Ipads, Tablets, Laptops etc.)
  • Inappropriate reading materials
  • Tobacco, liquor, drugs
  • Gum (a Ross Point Camp rule)
  • Weapons of any sort/fireworks
  • Cells phones (unless held by counselors for the duration of the camp)
  • Cameras. (We will have a camp photographer)
